Saturday, October 15th at Juneau from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. is the annual Craft Fair. We have lots of items (check out the website at Connect - Juneau UMW - Craft Items for sale) for sale and are still making more. We will also have baked goods for sale. Potato Soup and Ham Sandwiches will also be available for purchase. Start your Christmas shopping now. From October 9th until November 6th will be the Avon Fundraiser. There are a lot of Christmas type items for sale in the campaign we are selling from. This is a great time to start your Christmas shopping early. Proceeds from this year's fundraiser will be split between Support the Troops and the Angel Tree. On Saturday, October 1 will be Women' Day at the Horicon church from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. This event is sponsored by the Lowell UMW. Becky LeBouton will be our guest speaker. Lunch will be served around noon. Marty Stanton will be helping with the afternoon session. This event is for anyone who wants to come, so ask a friend and come and enjoy the day!. Our biggest event, The Election Day Chili & Soup Supper at Horicon, on November 8th is from 4:30 - 7:00 p.m. Proceeds from this event provide salary support for our missionaries, Larry & Jane Kies, at African University in Zimbabwe. We also have the Harvest Dinner at Juneau on Sunday, November 30th and the Cookie Walk at Horicon on Saturday, December 10th. More information to come on these two events.
