In February Horicon started up a game night from 6:30 to 8:00 the first Tuesday night of each month and boy has it been fun. We been having about a dozen people attend. We have several different activities going on at the same time. We put together puzzles, play scrabble, Pictionary, cards and dominos. Snacks are provided and I encourage everyone to come. If you like to play games this is the place to be. Remember we meet the first Tuesday of every month from 6:30 to 8:00. Check out the pictures at Events & News/What's Happening/Horicon.

On February 11 the Annual Auction was held at Lowell. The event was at the VFW Hall and was attended by a great group of people. Auction item included jams, jellies, canned veggies, homemade desserts and breads, candy, decorating items, garden items, gift certificates and lots more. The evening started off with a light lunch, which was delicious. We then moved to the Auction itself. Thanks again to Dennis Loomis for being our auctioneer and Steve Keel and Barry Freitag for being the auctioneer helpers. There was a lot of spirited bidding going on - especially for the many baked goods. The great news is that the event raised $909 that went to the general fund. Thanks for all who organized the event and provided the lunch, to everyone who brought items to be auctioned off and all of those who bid and won the items. The Sunday School in Juneau has been very busy. We had our first Children's Christmas Program in years this Christmas. The kids did a puppet show, played the bells and did a Nativity Scene. In February Mrs. K got the kids together for a morning of activities at the Community Center in Juneau. They played games, had a little lesson from Mrs. K and finished up with pizza for lunch. Thanks to Mrs. K and her daughter for putting it all together and running the program that day. You can catch the Christmas Program Videos on our Facebook page. The other pictures from the Program, as well as the pictures from activity day can be found at Connect/Sunday School/Juneau SS.
The annual Cookie Walk was held on Saturday, December 10 at Emmanuel in Horicon. Thanks to the members who baked cookies, bars, candy and other food items; donated crafts and came to help that day. We had a good time with lots of goodies for sale. We raised $1312.30 for the general fund. Thanks to all of the ladies who packed up the extras and handed out goodie packages throughout our community. Good work everyone. Check out the pictures at Events & News/What's Happening/Horicon

On October 15, 2016 the Juneau Women held their Annual Craft Fair. We sold crafts, held a bake sale and sold sandwiches, soup and dessert. The weather was good and we had an excellent turnout. We sold over $700. The proceeds will be used on various mission projects and needs for the church. Check out the pictures at Connect/UMW Juneau/Craft Fair pictures.
